I’ve been an artist at heart for as long as I can remember. As a kid, my homework was usually covered in more sketches than answers. By high school, I was obsessed with drawing portraits of Jim Morrison, but I lacked the confidence to see my own talent. I actually threw one of my large-scale portraits in the trash because I was tired of carrying it around. A few weeks later, my art teacher handed the portrait back to me—decorated with blue ribbons. He told me, "Here’s what your trash does." That was the moment I realized my work had real value.
My journey into tattooing started at 16 with a homemade machine and a lot of ambition. While my father wanted me to be a welder—and I did find a creative outlet making horseshoe art—I knew my true calling was the needle, not the torch. At 18, I struck out on my own and began honing my craft on myself and my friends.
Today, I specialize in Realism, Surrealism, and Portraits, though I pride myself on being a versatile artist. If a style isn’t in my wheelhouse, I’ll always be honest with you—integrity is as important to me as the art itself.
Beyond the shop, I am a husband to my lovely wife, Desi, and a father to five kids. I hustle every day to build a legacy for them, and while I’d love to see them follow in my footsteps, my greatest goal is to support them in whatever path they choose.
